Sacramento, Calif. In a surprise move today, The AD of Sacramento State has called a press conference to announce the hiring of a new head coach for it's men's basketball team. The new coach, Brandon Crawford, who is completely unknown to the college basketball world will take the reins of a team that went 12-18 last year.
The only information on coach Crawford is that he played and started for 4 years on his highschool basketball team, but was severely injured in his first year of college play and never played again. Since then he studied the many different strategies of basketball and began coaching at bottom tier high schools and helping them move into the higher tier, then leaving for another job. Crawford is a young coach with lots of experience with weaker teams and coming into Sac State should not be much of a change from what he has experienced in his coaching career already.
We are all hoping that coach Crawford can have a positive impact on this team and maybe bring in some good talent in his recruiting. We are all pulling for you, good luck Mr. Crawford!
