I'm starting to like Hattrick... will I like CM4?

Just wondering... $40 is a lot for a PC game (so I'm cheap...)

How does CM4 compare to Hattrick? If you've never played the series before, know squat about soccer, and have only played Hattrick for a month, would it be worth the money? Would I have any idea what I'm doing? Are there clever cheat codes included someplace so I don't get too frustrated from losing and throw the CD at my dog?

Hattrick is like the appatizer, as CM4 is like the main course....

CM4 is a good game, but I find it alot harder to enjoy and play. One of the reasons is because hattrick is easy too play, but there alot of room for improvment.

Cm4 is really in depth, but its not as easy to play, well Maybe its not so hard if you pick some team like real madrid, or Man U. but whats the fun in that?

I second that. The depth differences are huge. Basically, I think the CM series and Hattrick are two totally different games. If you do grab CM start with an easy team to get the ropes. Then work your way down.

I would highly recommend downloading the demo. That and the various quick-starts you can download for it will help you apperciate the enormity of the game. The demo season lasts for 6 months, so there's plenty of time to check out how the game works.

Two totally different games...I can't even get into CM4 until they fix some of the more glaring problems...

Now that I've cracked and made that admission, I wonder if I'm only a couple of steps away from wanting to tongue-kiss Jaromir Jagr and give Bobby Clarke a blowjob.

Anyone have any suggestions on where the best place to buy CM4 might be?
