The 16-0 Tennessee Titans?
So I was perusing through ESPN.com today, and something hit me. The Titans are more than half way through the season, and are still undefeated. Then I looked at their schedule and realized it's actually possible we could have two 16-0 teams in consecutive seasons. Here is what their remaining schedule looks like.
11 Sun, Nov 16 @ Jacksonville (4-5) 12 Sun, Nov 23 NY Jets (6-3) 13 Thu, Nov 27 @ Detroit (0-?) 14 Sun, Dec 7 Cleveland (3-6) 15 Sun, Dec 14 @ Houston (3-6) 16 Sun, Dec 21 Pittsburgh (6-3) 17 Sun, Dec 28 @ Indianapolis (5-4) The last two games of the season pose the most serious threats...but the way Ben Roth has been playing I can't really take them seriously. Short of an upset, the only big time shot (IMO) they have at getting beat is if Peyton gets hot down the stretch and they have a showdown in week 17. If Tennessee does make it that far without a loss, they might decide to think big picture and sit a lot of their starters for the players. Especially after the Pats became more infamous than famous for their undefeated regular season.

It'd be a shame if they choked in the Super Bowl after an undefeated season.

13 Thu, Nov 27 @ Detroit (0-?)
14 Sun, Dec 7 Cleveland (3-6) 15 Sun, Dec 14 @ Houston (3-6) IMO, that's the most dangerous stretch. They won't be mentally prepared against one of the creampuff teams and they'll honk it. |

Cleveland and ouston may have shit reords, but they have very talented teams and can play with anyone on any given weekend. Detroit? eh, not so much.

I could careless if they went 16-0 or 12-4 as long as the road to the SB goes through Tennesssee they will be in great shape. Fisher isn't Norv Turner and this team isn't cocky like some of the past super star teams that have rolled through the regular season and stumbled in the playoffs. I see they winning this weekend probably and after that they will start to think about ease off the throttle a little in a couple weeks say after Detroit.
