Hartford sends:

SP Floyd Yarbrough
MR Corey Templeman
RF Hsin-ping Lan
SP Dave Hardee (AAA)
MR Tim Hanson (AAA)
1B Greg Miller (AAA)
LF Tad Hamilton (AAA)
C George Carr (S A)

Toronto sends:

1B Abraham Lujan
MR Logan Finley
3B Justin McFadden (S A)
$12,000,000 contract buyout on Lujan

Muns and I seem to enjoy making this sweeping deals. This one we hardly had to negotiate at all. He strengthens his bullpen and adds some infield pop. In return, I get a little more depth to my starting lineup (which was dinged pretty hard by trading away Wiley last year), a potential strong closer, a catching prospect which I badly need, and some infield and outfield relief.

I feel a lot better about this deal than I did the Wiley one.

Hartford to confirm!

My apologies, DC, the buyout is on Lujan, not Finley. I have edited to clarify. Hartford's confirm will come after the edit timestamp.

Lujan's current contract runs through 1980 (3 years left) and is worth $30 million, Toronto will pay the max. 40% to move him, his contract with Hartford pending confirmation will be $18 million over 3 years or $6 million per year.

I accept...... This one should be interesting to see who wins out in the end...

I think the 2 young guys I gave up can be all stars just like my rooke OF Kenko Tamura was this past year. I got the pop I lack, and he gets depth in the rotation and pen to go along with 2 spects that can play now..
