Rain?

How should you adjust tactics in the case of rain? Thanks.

Slightly longer passes, slightly slower tempo.

Thanks, it was 0-0 at half. I switched things up and won 2-0.

Agree with St.Cronin, if the pitch is wet, you better use long passes as the short ones will be slowed down by the mud.

Also I'm not sure if this is modeled into the game as it's in real life, but when raining, in real life teams tend to shoot more, specially far shots as there is an higher chance of the ball slipping in the GK hands or doing weird things when bouncing in the wet grass.

O Ye of Little Faith...

Not that I know for sure it's modeled, but I've learned to assume everything is modeled, down to players tripping over their shoelaces.

In the one season I tracked it, I think I conceded .4 more and scored .2 more in the rain, so (although the sample size is small), I think that there will be a few more goals.

OK, but what if it's raining with a gale?
