Multi Player Draft Question

I run a league with about 8 of us right now. We have 32 teams and the others are computer controlled. I would like the computer to select for the teams that it controls, however I do not want to wait until free agency is over, I want to run the draft concurrent with free agency. I thought I might be able save the league under another name and just advance to the draft so we can start. However that button does not light up and allow me to save the league just to start running the draft.
Is there anything I can do to accomplish this? It sure would make the off-season go alot more smoothly.

It is easier just to get guys to blow through their FA turns to get to the draft faster.

My office league is similar: 5 GMs + 27 AIs. And we're always picking on each other to finish our FA turns so we can get to the draft.
