FOF Multiplayer Leagues

How many are you in?

I'm in two. IHOF and GEFL.

I swore I'd only do the one FOF league that I run (NAFL) because I also have an OOTP league and FOFC-BBCF. But I just couldn't resist WOOF. So 2 FOF leagues for me.

I was in the HFL and really liked it, but had to drop out due to time constraints.

If I go the MP route again, I'm not sure if I'd go the historical route again or if I'd go fictional. Both sound appealing.

I'm looking forward to completing the triple-league sweep, I think we're playing hth in the current or upcoming regular season of all of them.

Picking your FOF MP league is like choosing your sex partner. Choose wisely and it is wonderful. Goddamit if you don't want to have an export every day or even twice a day. Choose wrongly, and its disappointing and painful afterwards -- leaving you to turn your mind to other things like baseball season.

I was only in the eNFL for a long time because there were some annoyances/flaws in the MP process that dissuaded me from joining multiple leagues. I think FOF 2007 solved most of those problems, so I joined WOOF because I thought it was being started with a great group of guys. Then, I joined the OSFL because I wanted to meet some new guys and be helpful to some players who had no prior experience with FOF much less FOF MP. I might be joining one more league in the near future, but I know that would be my max. If I go above 4, I'd risk diluting my participation in each of the leagues.

Yeah, most all of the little things that irked me about 04 were fixed in 07. Stuff like rediculously low franchise tenders, easy cheap renegotiations for hurt guys/backups...stuff like that. I still would love to see a process where we didn't have to run one stage file per game file, and that would allow more game sims.
