Newb Question - 'GM mode'

I just need you guys to clarify something. I think I understand, but just want to make sure.

In global options; if I set everything to 'No' except COACH RESETS GAMEPLAN PRIOR TO EACH GAME, my coaches will gameplan as they see fit right?

I basically want to run it as a GM and handle all of the roster moves and set the depth chart, but allow the coaches to handle the game plans and playcalling to their abilities. I figure if I run it like that it will put more importance on landing better coaches.

Thanks guys..

This is exactly what I do. I only let the coach set the gameplan. I handle everything else.

Oh, and you are correct on your question.

I agree, although I don't think any GM decides who his starters are.

Thanks

I think the better GMs have a pull in who gets to see the field. I know it ultimately comes down to the head coach, but if i'm drafting these guys I want to have some sort of input haha.
