I'm not reducing my YS yet because I'm going to keep pulling under the old system for 2-3 weeks next season before switching over.

I really don't see any benefit to switching to the new YS style right away unless you let your old school YS go to shit.

I read (barf) the 900 post thread on HT-Global about the new system. HT-Tjecken was pretty clear that the old YS level was not going to carry over in any way.

Regarding your evil plan, Chubby - I wouldn't count on it. It may or may not be possible to switch mid-season. Considering that there's a series system for youth squad matches, it would save a lot of implementation hassles if they just made switching possible in the off season. Given the HT's demontrated skills, I'm betting they go for the easy choice.

Edited to add: Someone posted a summary of the HT answers to the questions raised in the thread.
