FOF Injuries

Just wondering how many people have on IR per year for thier FOF careers... I generally have 1-3, sometimes a couple more. I play with the standard setting of 100. I am asking because I checked the NFL and see that the average across the league through week 14 is just over 6. Which kinda surprised me. I thought it would be lower. How many (on average) do you guys generally put on IR during the season?

If I have to put 4 players on IR, it's been a bad year. But I also play on 100 injuries. I'm sure some of the real men around here who play on 200 injuries would say something different.

I usually wind up with several players who I could put on IR, but I'm so close to the salary cap limit that I can't afford to find new guys so I just take them out of the roster. I typically average around 5-8 guys who are IR material.

What you have to keep in mind is that in FOF only players that play generally get injured. But in the real NFL, players get injured in practice. It's been a big year of injuries for the Eagles, they have 16 on IR or PUP, but only 6 are starters.

But in the NFL every x-th stringer who catches a cold goes to IR so they can get a new body. Also, in FOF some injuries are not picked up during the game.
