I Need A New Coffee Maker

It's a fact. I've had my current coffee maker since I started undergrad in August, 1997. Don't get me wrong, it's gotten me through many a long night and many an early morning, but at 8+ years old, this coffee maker just leaves a few things to be desired. My biggest problems with it are that the burner is melting and the carafe and the filter are separate unattached pieces, meaning that when I want to pour myself a cuppa, I have to take out the filter, too, and hold it over the sink or something so it doesn't drip all over the place.

I'm looking for recommendations for a new coffee maker. The perfect maker should include:
A filter basket that is attached the coffee machine so I don't have to remove it just to pour some coffee.
Pressure brewing. Mmm pressure brewing.
NO PODS. I really don't care for pod coffee.
4-10 cup capacity. I don't need any more than that, certainly. Really, 4-8 cup capacity is even better.
Thermal carafe. These machines with burners are ok, but tend to "overheat" the coffee if you don't get it immediately. Since I usually put on the pot and let it sit while I get ready for work, or brew extras on the weekend, I would prefer a thermal carafe to keep my coffee hot instead of a burner that will further cook the coffee.

Recommendations?
I suppose I could use a french press, but a) my grinder isn't very good with getting the right size ground for FP coffee and b) I don't really have the time/abilty to keep an eye on the steeping/brewing to make sure I don't overbrew.

So, lay those recommendations on me!
Oh yeah, I also don't really need an espresso maker. I already have one of those I'm quite happy with.
