Online photo album with unlimited storage

Few things (apart from my family) are as dear to me as my digital pictures. I've done a good job over the years keeping/protecting my film negatives but the digital pics on my hard drive aren't afforded the same care.

Sure, I've made CD backups, but I've already had CDs that were unreadable. Thus began my search for an online repository. All the sites came with storage caps (many around 200-300 MBs) and that just wasn't going to do.

I gave up looking.

Ummm, yeah.

I just meant I don't work for them or for one of their suppliers or whatnot. The coupon gives the user $5 off and reduces my next subscription fee.

Use somebody else's coupon for all I care. They are easy to find.

As for gmail, even though they've upped the limit to 2.5 GBs, I've taken 1.5 GBs in only 2 months. I'm not sure I want to create an account every 3 months or so.

Plus, I can send links to family members so they can order prints without me having to lift a finger and have them delivered to their door.

I'm sure I can find all manners of cheap/free storage on the web, but compare that to a single login for $30/year and there is no comparison for me.

www.myphotoalbum.com is free as far as I remember, don't remember any limits on uploads or bandwidth and they shouldn't close your account as long as you don't go two months without a hit.

Going from memory here, better to check for yourself...

to add to that, this account http://fcpointelevy.myphotoalbum.com/ was created last Summer to show soccer pictures of my team's U9 team. I've not uploaded since last August and it has not been closed yet. I guess it's still getting visits...
