State geography puzzle game
In the spirit of everyone doing all these play-on-words games, I'll do one for states. Many will be easy, some won't.
1) Dry area Arizona 2) Ted Stryker's problem when trying to drink Mississippi 3) Colossal, yet isolated Rhode Island 4) Replaces a torn one New Jersey 5) Lamb owner's domain Maryland 6) Puking one's guts out because of a loud concert Illinois 7) Tapped mine Oregon 8) A six-ounce can of Coke Minnesota 9) Iced tea Louisiana 10) Advice from someone regarding farming tough earth Idaho 11) Happens in a prison laundry Washington 12) Something a bulldog says 13) Program start Maine 14) R.'s a lumberjack Arkansas 15) A boy scout in Utah in 1912 Indiana 16) Illinois town's landward boundary North Carolina 17) Wild, yet pure West Virginia 18) Paging Stewart 19) Yes, in St. Petersburg Nevada 20) Same as the republic Georgia 21) Off to work I go Iowa 22) It's in the water Florida 23) Torchbearer New York 24) Lost a pirate somewhere 25) Bishop's comment about mushrooms Last edited by Wolfpack : 06-18-2004 at 04:13 PM. |

Buzzbee goes three for three on Oregon, Idaho, and Iowa.
Raven Hawk is right on Arkansas. henry and bad-example miss. (Alaska is still not the right answer.) I admit I was scraping around a bit on Idaho. I thought of more tasteless ways to do it, but passed. |

Only Huckleberry is right of the most recent answers.
I'm contemplating additional hints. Are they warranted? |

Huckleberry finally relieves everyone of the burden of 19. The Neva River flows through St. Petersburg, so it's "Neva-Da". The St. Petersburg piece of the clue was crucial there, as it was more specific than Russia as a whole.
Raven Hawk misses and Alf misses by default. |
