A break from FOF
I think I need to take a break. I am so frustrated that after 3 patches the team with the #1 pick in the draft and who lists QB as biggest need passes on a QB with great size and potential, bars averaging at 50 red and green mostly maxed out with an overall rating of 8.3, and the team drafts a DT with an overall rating of 7.4 and they have 2 very good DTs with good numbers from the previous year. I am sick of trying to come up with house rules jjust so I can stand o play the game because of stupid stuff like this. Is anyone else frustrated by this?

I would imagine a patch is near in the future? Still, a break sounds understandable. I haven't really been taking note of those FA bugs and the like...

Things like that are frustrating. When you play a game long enough, you start noticing things like this. At least Jim has lots of ways to go with v5. The AI definitly needs beefed up, but what games AI doesn't?
![]() I'm not sure there are any more patches in the works though. I always took it like d was the last one?? Todd |

Havent touched FOF since a few days after the last patch, except for multiplayer.
Single play is completely busted. |

Come on DK, I said I was looking for a challenge. You have nothing to worry about. Except your weird obsession with a FOF chaacter that never existed.

I still enjoy single player. It just removes the fun of having to do some wheeling and dealing in the draft when you know teams will draft lesser DE, DT and LTs in place of top players at RB, QB and such. The same team that needed a QB and passed on a stud started a 1st year FA for the season. I find that unacceptable. Passing on the prospect is one thing, but then not even signing a veteren and having 3 UFA QBs, 2 of the 1st year guys, and starting a guy who should not even be a 3rd stringer is way uncool.

I have to agree with Skydog on this one. I routinely play and enjoy the single player experience. There some minor problems, but its far from broken. |

My current single player dynasty is currently stalled because of a similar situation. Top rated player on the draft board was a quarterback. In the middle of the third round he was there so I went ahead and grabbed him, despite having a young stud in place. If he ended up busting, I would have felt better, but the rookie is looking like he has better upside that my current QB.
I'm so ready for OOTP6 to come out.

The AI definitely needs some work, usually my careers don't last any longer than ten years at the most. I still can't get over the fact that a stud qb usually at some point signs with a team for the minimum because nobody will meet his demands & drafing always drives me nuts and is usually very predictable. That said, I still enjoy single player mode, but I pay attention to my team only, I hardly ever look at what the computer is doing because I know it will bug me.
