Console Boxing title question...

I just watched the Rahman-Al Cole fight the other night and started thinking about console boxing games. What is the most realistic boxing title on the market for eithier X-Box or PS2?

Fight Night 2004 is supposed to be pretty good. Might be worth a rental when it comes out early next month.

Fight night 2004 apparently decided that it didn't need larry merchant to do announcing so they got some rapper that hosts a BET show to do the announcing.. it went from a probably buy to a maybe rent to me because of that..

What is EA sports deal with rap anyway? does every single title need some sorta rap reference? i mean i understand the target audience they are trying to appeal to.. but still..

Thanks for the input guys, are any of the older console boxing games worth a buy or is Fight night 04 the best hope for a realistic boxing game?

No idea, I haven't played a boxing game since Ready 2 Rumble.

I had fun with Knockout Kings for PS but have never tried it for PS2. I see that there is a seller over at Amazon selling Knockout Kings 2002 for $15 factory-sealed.

Probably worth it.

Yeeess! Someone else who knows of this game! I think it's available for download now, at Underdogs? Not quite so sure. I used to while away so many precious hours with that state of the art product.
