Yet Another FOF Utility

I know I'm late to the party, but here's my first contribution to the rapidly growing lists of FOF utilities:

FOF Box Score Converter

This utility reads in Front office 2004 box score files (*.fbx) and, using a completely user customizable HTML template generates HTML pages.

A Sample of the output can be found Here.

That looks awesome. I'll try to use that just to print out my boxscores. Very nice!

And another one...in the next day or so. Code seems to be working, now it needs a shell.

Game Log Processing sample output:here

Again, totally autogenerated, like box scores.

What the hell was Tennessee thinking kicking the field goal down 31-3 with under 5 minutes to go?

Fido, little suggestion. When a team scores a TD but it calls back on a penalty, it displays the score as if it counted. I know the count is right, but when you are scimming along the play-by-play it just looks liek the game counted it. Perhaps you should not display the score when the score is canceled due to penalty.

Yeah...I saw that too, but wanted to post something. Its actually fixed now, the generated pages will use one style for scores and another for scores that were called back (I think that's interresting to see) and also colorizes fumbles and interceptions.

I can also say that this utility is not going to have a very long life at all - Maybe just another day or two. After that it will no longer be available. Why? Well I have something better cobbled together (needs some more usability tweaks). It will process multiple templates for each selected file, and will be able to process both Game Log and Box Score files at once.

And its output is something that I'm kinda proud of. Here's a sample from my first try at FOF (yes...I was Arizona).

Sample Output

It doesn't look like much when you click on the link - you have to take note of the two links above the scoreboard.

Just a little update on this...well actuall on the big project I'm wroking on. I was wondering what people thought of this set of pages (http://fidosutils.shorturl.com/fofre...sults_2006.htm)

This may not be beautiful yet, but I an still working on functionality at this point. App links shoudl work, including the ones on the team pages (the years in the Season records should open up a game by game recap of the season).

Note that the team pages are intentionally plain. I'm ising stylesheets for them - each team having its own .css file so thet they can almost completely customize their colors.

Any comments are welcome.

[Edit - Forgot to mention that this is all automatically generated from data in the .FGA file)

these are shit

Seriously though, these are brilliant man, but I think you have set up a slash the wrong way before the team name:
/vze1q2iv/fofreporter/Standings/teams\Cincinnati.htm

otherwise, wow man, absolutely magnificent work... I bow to you
