Anyone use open office?

Just wondering if anyone here uses it. I can't afford Office XP right now (not even the $120 edition for students), so I'm hoping I can get by with OO when my computer arrives next week. Anyone experienced problems with it in terms of Office compatibility?

I have large windows that i keep open during the day because I like the breeze. It doesn't feel like an actual office, more like a desk area in a house. Open Offices are so great.

Open Office does an okay job at opening MS Office documents. It usually has no problem opening MS Word documents that just contain text or Excel sheets with simple formulas. I usually run into problems with the more complex documents that have charts and graphs embedded in them.
