Dunk in summer bball game
Don't think I have every seen this type of dunk before during actual game play. Was neat to see

I'm fairly sure that's a violation, double-dribble or travel? One of the two. Regardless, impressive.

I read this as "Drunk in summer bball game" and was expecting a different video altogether.

I'm not really that impressed.

Nope, it's actually legal. He bounced it high with one hand on top of the ball, so it's technically considered a dribble bounce and not a pass. Had he used both hands to bounce it up, then you are correct that it would have been a double dribble. |

So what's the distinction between a "dribble bounce" and a bounce pass in your explanation? I think it's traveling. |

If he pitches the ball underhand, then it's a travel unless he hits rim or the backboard. By bouncing it with one hand on top of the ball, it's a dribble, albeit a wacky, seldom seen version of one. He can go up and get that no different than if he were to lose control of a dribble and chase it down to continue dribbling the ball 20 feet away. |
