Netflix streaming device limits

Does anyone have the streaming only plan? I'm thinking about dropping the disc plan, but I've heard they limit the number of devices you can have going, and the lower your "subscription plan" the less devices you can use. Anyone have any experience with that?

I had the 1-disc-at-a-time plan, dropped to streaming only, and currently have 4 devices set up to stream. The trick is I only stream on one at any given time, not sure I've tried two yet, although I should be able to get two streams going with this plan I believe. It's only an issue if you have lots of TVs you want to stream on at once.

No authority here, but when I signed up for stream-only I gathered the limit was X+1 devices, where X was the number of discs you had signed up for on the basic plan. I was left with the impression that my limit as a non-disc person was 2 units in use at one time. I know in our home we have used 4 different devices at various times without trouble.

This. I've heard that streaming is limited, but we've had three going at one time without any issue (PS3, Roku, and a iPhone).

Yeah, I have streaming only - but I don't think I've ever had multiple devices running at a time. But I have at least 5 devices that I've streamed on at one time or another.

Thanks for the replies, I was talking about going simultaneously. Seems like there's no answer I can find on their website, or online.

I actually called & asked them about this a few months back, for the life of me I can't remember whether the answer was unlimited or at least 2 at a time.

Last year at some time, they upped the limit to 50 devices on one account. Now if the question is how many can run simultaneously, I am not sure. I know we usually have 2 TVs running Netflix once in a while and had no issues.

I was talking about simultaneously. I've had all three running at the same time before.

We're on streaming only and I know we've had at least two devices going at the same time.

Streaming only. Dropped the disc part when the price increase happened. Had three at one time earlier this week.

Awesome thanks. On rare occasions, I might need 3, but 99% of the time only 1 or 2. Thanks.

I've got 30 Mbit down, I should be able to handle 3 HD streams pretty well...
