DDS:CB2 vs. FBCB
Im in the market for a good game. I think I will go with a college basketball sim. One of these are the choices.
Please do not be negative. I want the positives of each game. Im looking for something that is pretty easy to play. Not a lot of button pushing. Ease of interface. Low learning curve. A game if I have a 1/2 hour to kill, I can accomplish stuff. Things of this mature. HELP ME CHOOSE A GAME. Thanks. |

I find FBCB immersive and perfect for killing a 1/2 hour and actually managing to get stuff done. Because can be as into it as you or ignore the tedious stuff and still have fun and make progress. And it's still a challenge without being "too much." It's the sweet spot of a text sim I think.

The full download of FBCB includes a 3 day trial now if you have time to try it out. If you like it great, if not no harm done.

Sounds like FBCB2 is right up your alley. I haven't played DDS:CB, but those who have compared to two generally cite FBCB2 as being better for higher-level play, while DDS:CB is more for those that really love the nitty-gritty of coaching each game in real-time.
I've been playing FBCB2 almost non-stop since first buying it 1.5 years ago, FWIW.

Give FBCB a try. 3 days is a heck of a trial and it really seems like it is exactly what you are looking for. Like the others have mentioned, DDS CB is very detailed and takes much longer to get through a season.
