Argh.
The Dodgers used the #40 1st round sandwich pick they got from the Seattle Mariners when Adrian Beltre left town on a kid that we originally drafted three years ago.

Yeah, but I'm also referring to the fact that they had to shut Campos Las Palmas down for a year or two because of the whole "signed Beltre too early" thing, plus the financial penalties. Basically, everything they invested in him, and then they let him go and used the pick on a kid they took 3 years ago. Sigh.
