Massive Freeway chase/standoff in LA

I feel bad for anyone who is being held up in traffic because of this nutcase.

To sum it up, someone was accused of trying to kidnap a woman with a semi automatic gun, and was on a freeway chase for 50 miles. A cop managed to spin him out via a slick driving move. Now the guy is stuck in his minivan for about the last hour or so, cops pointing guns at him. And meanwhile motorists are probably screwed cause this appears to be a very busy section of road.

Dola, I live about 4 miles from where all of it is happening and coming home from finals I had to take a 15 minute detour. Thankfully it's was only 1230 in the afternoon

I am reminded of the woman at the drive-thru chicken joint in Detroit. As she sat there waiting for her order, a man reached in attempting to steal her purse. The woman pulled out a handgun and shot the man in the chest. She then calmly took her order and drove off. The man staggered out into the street and expired.
