I was close, too, after signing Ortiz, but I offered him $40,000 less than my available cap space, so it shouldn't have been me.

The difference in cash had to be because of the extra days that were left before the season was played. I'm not sure if its my fault or not. There was 2 things messed up and it has to be the extra days. I'm trying over here I promise.

Thanks guys. I know I'm not as good as the last commish but he spoiled us I think. He was so good at it that there's no chance to equal his work. I can equal his heart and drive to keep going. Its all I've ever had to offer to anything I ever do, so I give everything I do extra effort.
