A small (heh) clerical era. Salavisa for San Diego isn't a free agent. He's been designated as their Franchise player and I got the email a few days ago, but forgot to do it before I ran the sim to FA. So he's been pulled of the FA pool.

Ok, so FA1 is complete.

Reminder of the schedule for this week:

FA1 Tuesday
FA2 Wednesday
FA3/Start of ST Thursday
FA4/Start of Season Friday

Also, I'm trying to concoct ways to induce more trading. I think in a four-team per league situation, teams don't want to deal because FA is vibrant enough that you don't have to. But I think it'd be good for interaction and also good for gamesmanship (trade a guy when you're tanking at mid-season to make a move for the future or to stop a team in a post-season run...)

One modest idea would be to allow draft pick trading. OOTP has gotten better about that, so it shouldn't be too hard. And could restrict to picks in the 1st two rounds only and you can only trade draft picks for the current year, so it'd be limited.

But that might induce teams to consider say, going all in or decided to cash in all of their chips.

Anyway, the file is up. FA2 tomorrow night.

Couldn't do much in FA.

Man... bad time for my computer to have had to go into the shop..

When I looked at the first OOTP 13 file I thought we had already advanced past the point where free agents would file and didn't think I had any major players leaving... Now as I get my laptop back and reload the file I see I've lost a ton of players... Crap. Such is life, I suppose.
