#1 - Jessica Alba vs. #16 - Hilary Duff

Alba is one of the top HON performers of all time, clocking in at just under 90% on the hotness scale. Duff enters the tournament as an at large bid and despite being older than some of the other entrants, may have some negative stigma attached to her as many still remember her from her younger days. That combined with facing Alba equals a tough matchup for Duff.

#8 - Rachel McAdams vs. #9 - Jennifer Connolly

McAdams recently had a very respectable HON performance, 78% and third best of 2012, which should give her some momentum heading into the tournament. Connolly is a pending pollster and despite being older than a number of other entrants, is still capable of bringing it. McAdams should win this but Connolly is a wild card and could make things interesting.

#5 -Emmanuelle Chriqui vs. #12 - Sarah Shahi

Chriqui herself is coming off a big recent HON performance where she garnered an 82% rating. Shahi is another pending pollster and as such, her performance will be somewhat of a mystery. Neither party brings big name value, with Chriqui best known for her role on Entourage while Shahi is probably best known for The L Word and Life (if you watched those shows). As such, the selection committee is hoping for a close battle to draw in the viewers.

#4 - Carrie Underwood vs. #13 - Kate Upton

Underwood is an at large bid that brings a bit of classiness and girl next door with her looks and the selection committee in turn rewarded her with a four seed. She draws the polarizing Kate Upton, who had a good but not great HON performance in 2011 at 71%. Since then though, Upton has broken into the mainstream appearing on the cover of the SI swimsuit edition. Will the burst in popularity be enough to for her to move on in the tourney?

The Alba/Duff pictures make them look very similar which is messing with my mind and causing me to rethink my first instict of voting Alba. The other three I'm clear on - McAdams, Shahi, Upton.

For the 31 entrants without a HON score, I had to guess what the masses would think, which I admittedly am horrible at predicting (and thus why Jennifer Love Hewitt will be a #15 seed when she's pulling about an 89% in the latest HON poll), while at the same time trying to eliminate personal bias, like wanting to put Gina Carano much higher.

Morning Glory helped McAdams win out in the end as her personality gives the edge. Connolly might be amazingly beautiful, but I've never been really blown away by her personality. I would still take McAdams and Connolly over the rest of the bracket and not even blink.

Upton got screwed in the HON polls by people complaining that she looked like a teenager. The pic you posted doesn't exactly make her look OLD, so we'll see how she fares here. I would be shocked if she lost though.

The key to my Duff vote over Alba came from the instruction that this was about today hotness, not lifetime/best era/etc. Googled up pics for both & was surprised to see that Duff at 25 is simply hotter than Alba at 31.

I highly encourage people to add their own pics. With 64 contestants it's taken some time to get decent pics in place for everyone and I don't want that to be the thing that holds up the tourney. On top of that, I've been trying to get pics of a similar size that matchup, for that side by side tale of the tape type comparison. That eliminates a lot of the nicer sprawled out horizontally wider pics as well as other ones where I can't find the right size.

So yeah, definetly add more pics to the threads. More the merrier.
