I have PMed the commish (on the OOTP boards) about taking over Chicago. Hopefully I will be active soon.
I am retired and live in scottsdale, AZ.
I've been playing OOTP since version 6.5
Currently in OTBA and MBWBA (where I am co-commsh).

Welcome aboard. I dropped you a note via email with the league file and GM data file for your settings folder. It's currently the free agency period as of the current file. Deadline is usually at 10pm eastern unless otherwise indicated.
Here's the (rough) schedule. Sometimes holidays or my own ability to sim can impede this, but we've been following it pretty well now for a few seasons:
1st Half runs on Wednesday.
Draft is run on Thursdays.
2nd Half is run on Friday.
Playoffs run on Monday.
Then in the opposite week, we'll do the free agency period.
FA1 on Thursday
FA2 on Friday
FA3 on Saturday
Spring Training/Sim to the start of the season on Monday
A lot of the stuff that happens is assumed because people came here with fast-sim experience, so don't hesitate to ask questions as you get more acquainted with the league.
Welcome to SLOP!

Edit: Actually going back and reading your name again I may have played with you before....I played with a Joe G. from Scottsdale a few years back

Welcome aboard. I dropped you a note via email with the league file and GM data file for your settings folder.
I got the accountsdata file.
The league file (http://www.wyogeek.com/<wbr>baseball/baseball/slop.tar.gz (http://www.wyogeek.com/baseball/baseball/slop.tar.gz)): gives this error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@wyogeek.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Replying to that email also errors as "account disabled"

It's apparently case sensitive. Sorry. And yeah, that email address doesn't exist it's just a generic reply. Just alert me, since it's just me.
