Not a whole lot of difference to the helmet. I guess the face mask looks good.

Kalimba: "What the hell am I doing here?"
Cory: "Lion is my friend, and has a nice ass too"

Doesn't the white jersey look like Carolina's? I can almost picture Rae Carr...well, I can almost picture Kerry Collins tossing back a few cold ones on the drive home.

Considering the logo some faggoty (TM)(Ben Lewis) graphics designers proposed last year for the Lions, I am so happy that they stuck with their traditional logo and uniforms, with a little embelishment in the trim (which a lot of teams have done over the years). I woud have sworn off the NFL if they had gone with the faggoty (TM)(Ben Lewis) two-tone uniforms like the new Bills and Titans.

Taken from the Eagle's book of popular merchandizing: "Change the uniforms as little as humanly possible and still be able to tell, or at least the fans will -- fans of other teams won't (that is, be able to tell, or care) -- and sell more jerseys for your sad squad. Oh, and by the way, make it metallic looking."

They should just go with the throwbacks Barry Sanders used to look good in.

The uniforms would look better with ol' Barry stuffed into 'em. But then, Barry left the game with his legs intact. How many running backs get to say that?

can I go back to not caring about the Lions again?
It might only be a small change but I like it.

Carolina maybe, I think it's more Boston/New Orleans/Portland Breakers-esque. Which looks pretty good.

Did anyone else notice what number the mascot was wearing? Charlie Rogers? GO LIONS!!!!!!!

I thought Charlie Rogers would look more athletic than that. He needs to get back in shape and shave, or his stock in the draft may fall...

Very nice! I like the minimal change! There is no reason for every team to look the same.

I like the helmets, the homes are ok, but the aways...um, yeah. Hopefully they will grow on me. Well they better since I just ordered a Joey Harrington jersey with the new design.

I'll have to assume Matt Millen was behind this.
"Hey Mr. Ford, Let's re-design the uniforms. We'll barely change them, but defintely make them worse."

You know, I think that mascot needs some of Charles Rogers' masking agent. And some Visine.

I actually really like the new uniforms, even if they do look exactly like Grand Valley State University's.

Wrong Carolina. To me they look more like UNC's uni's than the Panthers...
