Well Baltimore just crapped the bed and added about $25mil in payroll last sim while only being able to afford $23mil.

So I need to shed some salary.
I can afford to just buy out contracts, but I figure I'd offer them up first.

So 1B Akihito Makino (http://www.fool-x.net//fool/html/html/players/player_16939.html) and C Albert Medina (http://www.fool-x.net//fool/html/html/players/player_16071.html) are available for a song.

I would like to add a pinch runner. Someone with 100sp, 100st that can back up at a few positions, but really, beggers can't be choosers. I'd probably accept any deal for a minimum wage player.

That's OK....You must have miss the fine print in which I mentioned that those are "Friend Prices".

Heh...at this point, I would say it's unlikely I will be able to defend it. I only have three legit SPs and no CF who can actually play the position anywhere close to the level needed, and a power-low lineup that lost perhaps its best power hitter in Aleman. Oh yeah, and about $2.7 M to use to try to fill those spots.

I can't believe Gomez and Cote both won their arb cases against me. They chopped off over a million more each from what I expected to have available to spend.
