3-star player stats

Being in a very crappy series (I am 2nd or, maybe, 1st in mine), I have never needed to upgrade much to win or tie against most anybody with ease. However, if I win my series and get bumped to Div. IV, I would get KILLED almost weekly.

My question, for those of you that have them, is..."What attributes do your 3* players have? I have 9 of 11 starters at 2.5*, but never seem to get a 3* player (keeper was 3* last week, but I don't know why he went up. I did not do anything to him, and he's never had 3* before)

Until the FAQ comes together, if ever, I would like y'all to list the attributes that make a 3* player BE a 3* player, if you don't mind, ie...:

Keeper: keeper, passable, value at least 300k
Central Defender: Defending, solid. Passing, inadequate.
Inner Mid.: Playmaking, solid. Stamina, passable.

......blah, blah...as examples I made up with no basis in knowledge. As I try to upgrade, say, inner mid, I don't want to purchase a "Solid" playmaker and forget that I needed at least "solid" stamina, or whatever, so as not to waste the $$$$$.

I hope this made enough sense that TP6, Data, _herd, Hippos, and all the others that will beat my ass in the FOFC Cup know what I'm asking.

For simplicity's sake, I will list the skills, value, and form for my players at the time that they first regularly achieved a 3* rating (for those that have achieved 3*, that is).

Keeper (Cornelius Jernigan)
"Corny" earns 3.5* if in solid or better form, so this may be a little high-end for what you're looking at.
-Goaltending: Solid
-Form: Passable
-Value ~$451,000

Central Defender (Chuck Scales)
At this point, Chuck would sometimes get a 3* rating with passable form.
-Defending: Solid
-Form: Solid
-Value ~$70,000

Wingback (Arlen Lucas)
Arlen has been trained since he was a passable defender, so this should be pretty accurate.
-Defending: Solid (bumped to excellent 5 weeks later)
-Winger: Passable
-Form: Passable
-Value ~$105,000

Wingback (Tyler Willard)
Note: Tyler achieved 3* "out of the box" as a youth squad promotee, so these attributes are less reliable.
-Defending: Solid (bumped to excellent 5 weeks later)
-Winger: Passable
-Form: Passable
-Value: $84,000

Winger (Valentin Rubio)
Valentin has earned 3* as an offensive winger each game since I bought him, 4 weeks ago. These are his attributes at the time of purchase.
-Winger: Passable
-Passing: Passable
-Playmaking: Inadequate
-Form: Solid
-Value: $108,000 (slightly deflated since he was 28 years old).

Midfielder (Charlie Bautista)
Charlie drops to 2.5* if in passable or worse form, every time.
-Playmaking: Solid
-Stamina: Excellent
-Form: Solid
-Value ~$110,000

Edit: I forgot to mention something. If you're looking at players on the transfer market, look at their best game to see what they're capable of, and also look at their most recent game, and compare that to their current form. This should give you a decent idea of the number of stars a player will produce.

Also, there are a number of 3* forwards in my series. I looked around at them, and they have values ranging from $90,000 all the way up to $280,000, and are all currently in passable or better form. Not sure if that helps much.

I've got two players who have achieved three star ratings. Here they are, hopefully it helps:

Winger (Offensive):
Esteban Jose Pinilla
-Excellent Form
-Inadequate Playmaking and Passing
-Passable Winger
-$73,000 Value

He just dropped to Solid Form, so he'll probably drop to **~ next week...but at Excellent Form, he has posted 3 consecutive *** ratings.

Central Defender
Alfred Poe (Normal):
-Solid Defending
-Solid Form
-$195,000 Value

He came with my team when I got it, and has inadequate in Playmaking and Passing (probably leading to the high value). He has been at solid form for a while, but has just posted his first *** game this last week.

Basically solid defenders and keepers can get three stars. Would probably need an excelelnt or formidable scorer to get three stars regularly. Midfielders can get three stars at passable provding they have secondary skills and good stamina. I would say excellent with stamina and no secondaries.

Thanks, guys. I can see I need to rob a very healthy bank before I can dream of getting 3* players...or hit the youth pull lottery. I tried to gat a middie for 120k with good stats, went away for a while, came back and his price was at 207k. yikes!! ---must be patient, must be patient---

Goran gets 3 stars. His defending is weak and his passing is poor, so he's all about playmaking and stamina.

Tim Kimber, the Hippos goalie gets ***~ frequently.
He dropped to passable form last week, tho, and now gets *** with solid keeping and $463K value.

Mick Starks gets *** from me every week for about the past year at offensive winger.
