I'll be in town for the AWP convention from Feb 2nd - 5th. The conference hotel is the Marriott Wardman Park & Omni Shoreham hotels, but I'll be staying at the Washington Marriott, which is a metro stop away.

In any case, any suggestions for things to do/see/eat? Keep in mind, driving isn't an option for me. I've been to D.C. before and very quickly saw some of the major monuments (my cousins were schedule freaks who only gave us 5 minutes at each place), way back in high school.

Also, if any of you guys or gals local to the area wanna do an FOFC meet, let me know that too. :)

all I know is that I'm not googling AWP convention.

when we were there this summer, we went to Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington. worth it.

If you want to drink your face off cheaply check out Fox & Hounds in Dupont.

I would do a quick search on the forum -- there are at least 2 or 3 DC threads. :) There's a lot of good information there that may not come up here.

+15. It's my goto spot for getting hammered. It's also called Trio's.

I've got enough kickbacks to keep me happy.
