*ALL* contract offers in FA1 to UFAs must be for at least three seasons. Period.

I need to know what the rules are to create a strategy for this season. Other than this rule and the trading rules, are there any other unique or out-of-the-ordinary rules that the teams will have to follow this season?

This old thread would probably be a good guide:

My guess is yes.

No on RFAs. They're yours to extend as you please.

One thing that I'd completely overlooked: teams over the cap need to get under the cap by the end of FA1, or it will completely screw up the draft.

Seriously??

I took the *ALL* to mean just that...*ALL*.

Sorry 'bout that, Johnny. There's no real reason to make that rule for RFAs. The idea is to make FA more interesting, not hamstring you in trying to sign RFAs.

Crap, I missed this tonight when I did my export. I will try to redo my export in the morning after work.

Does this include renegotiations?

No. Just new contracts offered to unrestricted free agents.
