A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
Wilson is the key in this deal. He is ML ready and is a damn fine SS. I was looking for a 1B, but I'll happily play him at SS and let Higman walk to FA.
Dale and Wilkinson, although great prospects, are years away. I have 3 yrs left on my pitching staff before we have a major rebuild. I would rather have the stud now rather than later when i no longer have enough pitching to field competative teams.
I was disapointed in not landing Luna in the draft 2 seasons ago. I am glad to land him now!
