Question from the guy who hasn't done this in a long time

I haven't played mulitplayer in quite a long time. I've offered a contract on a guy. Now I've gone into my roster and selected a guy to release, hit the button, and it gives me the "Base this release on if you sign the last contract offered" message. Thats great, its what I want to do in this case. I hit yes. Now, can I offer another contract, and do the same thing with another guy, or is it only smart enough to do it for the last overall contract offered?

I've done the same thing multiple times and never had any problems that I remember.
