PING: Commishes of EBFL, RFL, and NOFL

Guys, I had an unfortunate happening at my home last night.

I had an informal get-together at my place, and the neighbors overheard, and I drunkenly encouraged them to come over. They came over, which was no problem at first blush, but then they had some unsavory friends come over. I gave them a chance, being the good host that I am.

I wake up this morning....watch a shit load of college football, and happily accept EaglesFan27's invite to the NOFL. I go to turn the XBOX on, and..it's gone.

My shit got stolen last night by one of my neighbors piece of shit vato friends. I have already alerted the police, but I know my chances of catching the SOB and getting my system back are less than one percent.

SOOOO, I am going to buy a new system as soon as I sell my number two car, for which I already have a prospective buyer lined up (I think....). So, this could either be resolved tomorrow, or it could take up to a week.

I am NOT quitting any of the leagues I'm in. I'm getting a new 360 the very moment I sell the car. I do not mind at all if any of my beloved commissioners has to sim ahead with the CPU doing my game playing and recruiting for me. I don't want to hold up any of the leagues for even one second, so please do not hesitate to carry out pre-determined deadlines.

I am very sorry for the interruption, and hopefully I'll be ready to go Sunday or Monday....

Thanks for your support, friends. It sucks, but I guess I learned a lesson the hard way: Just because you want to trust people doesn't mean you should.

Normally, I wouldn't care very much at all at losing my own property, but I'm having a lot of fun being in these leagues with you guys. Also, as sad as this will sound, it's actually been helping me take my mind of some kind of hard times in my life.

Anyway, I'm gonna get this squared away here in the next couple of days....I can't wait to fire it up again and get frowny faces from my recruits after I try to hard sell campus lifestyle for the fifth time ;)
