The BoD have outlawed future draft pick trading/future considerations. But...the question to the owners is whether we want to outlaw draft pick trading all together.

I am fine with keeping current year draft pick trading, so I voted No. I don't really do it so both ways are fine by me, but I don't get why we are jumping from just future to all picks.

Multiple years of problems in the draft because of picks traded and the game sending the wrong pick to the new team caused it to be more of a hassle than DC wanted to deal with. (since it has now happened more than once).

One of the times it was to me and I just was nice and let Compton give me a guy I didn't want to make up for it which I now regret because of the way he bolted from the league.

Other than that I am like you where it didn't really bother me one way or another, but since it's caused issues multiple times I went with what seems easiest for DC

The argument was that the game doesn't know when you trade a pick from one team to another, which picks are which if you trade them too.

I could do like FOBL and create a "draft pick tracker" (http://www.thefobl.com/draft/tracker.php) for FOOL, that would make it easier to keep account of picks. Or maybe we can assign a BoD member to that task. I vote muns. ;)

So if we can do that, then I see no problem with current year pick trading. But without a tool like that, it's something of a pain in the ass.

Don't worry about it DC. Make it official and cut them all out. It seems like I was the only one to somehow miss the point that we were talking about ALL picks and not just future ones. I was just late to the party....which I don't get because I read everything in this forum. :p

If thats something that people want and want me to do it, id be willing to do that.... During basketball season though it would have to get updated on a few occassions very late due to travel time from games and stuff.

Honestly normally I wouldnt have done all that trading with the picks, but I was the first to try total rebuild mode. It would have happened sooner or later :)

That was the other option. That's great. I wish I had gone into coaching. If there's a sport I could coach, it's basketball.

Draft pick trading is gone, effectively the start of this off-season. The people have spoken. ;)
