Baltimore trades SS Ray Hubbard to Valdosta for thier 3rd round pick.

Hubband is a handy 25th man on the roster. He plays above average defense at 3 infield positions and hits enough to not embarrass himself if called upon to pinch hit. But he is #5 on my IF depth chart and destined for AAA. A 3rd round pick probably isn't worth a hill of beans this season, but it is something in return for a player who will not be resigned.

Agreed, thanks for the deal ekcut. I echo what he says about Hubbard, currently looks like he'll be roughly #18 or so in my hitting depth in spring, and roughly about 6th or so in Infield depth.. which means he'll try out in spring training for me, but needs to beat out at least one guy whom I like better than him to even make it to the majors this year.

I wanted a few more options to choose from though this spring, so pulled the trigger on this deal just to have another piece to look at.
