I'm about to release a mod for OOTP9, called the FOOL HomeKit. It's precisely what it sounds like. A solo league, based off FOOL, using our players. I'm guessing you all want merchandise licensing rights for your teams, yeah? :p

It'll be a quickstart though the main difference is, it's set to start in draft mode, so everyone was released, it's 1972 and you get to draft a team from scratch and go forward.

I did it for self-serving reasons, 1) I wanted to play a solo league and despite trying for WEEKS, I can't get immersed into one and 2) I thought it'd be cool to get other people interested in FOOL by putting our players out there, for the people who might want to see what all of the hoopla is about for guys who we talk about on these boards. We get a lot of lurkers here and I have no idea if they're really just interested in the league or are trying to find out what we're doing in here.

But I feel like this is a neat way to get people involved in what we do and of course, to give us a solo outlet.

So...there's your heads up. I'll post a link when it's posted.

THANKS DC, im so looking forward to this one :) as FOOL has ruined my experience with solo play. I too cant get into any kind of solo play at ALL!!!

It's what drove me to do this. I just needed my FOOL fix all of the time. I couldn't get immersed in other leagues at all. But now, I can just move teams around here and get immersed in this. I can't wait.
