If you consummate a deal, post the deal here. One owner posts, the other confirms it, here in public. I'll process deals after they post. The trade deadline is 10pm (eastern) on Thursday. It's the same each week.

Only post consummated trades here. Don't post trade chatter, just create a thread for your team's trade block or something like that. (and yes, I needed to remember that myself..)

Agreed.

I think DC wins in the deal, however I have No Starters what so ever, and Roberts fills that void. Not sure whats gonna happen with the FA market so Green can be a filler for me and be average in taking up another SP if needed.

Make sure you list what level the play plays at if they're in the minors. Makes it easier to do these trades. I've processed all of those ones listed that have been approved, so don't worry about going back. Just for future reference.

Confirmed.

I fully expect Sexton to tank and Feliz and the prospects to have career years, but that's the way things go. This does shore up my outfield some, and I may actually have a real lineup this year (although defense up the middle of the infield remains a concern).

Absolutely hate not being able to be here during the day, where I might be able to do a trade every now and then.

Almost all the deals get consummated via PM. So someone will PM someone else and then you'll be able to review their offer at your leisure, etc. So it's not really as much the daytime I think, as much as I think it's initiative and people just deciding to dive in a bit. Because really, if you have a deal in mind at night, you can PM them with an offer and consummate something tentative that next afternoon, etc.

A lot of times, it's just easier to look at your team, scour someone else's roster for what you might want and propose a deal to them from the start, because then you can get it done a lot faster, than just posting on the Trade Block, even.

At least, I know that's how I get my deals done...

I did PM someone. He didn't respond. Oh well...

That's not a 3-way trade you silly rabbit. It's just Charleston making two different trades. :p

Well it was, I just didn't write it up that way. Technically, Charleston sent both Inman and Myers to St. Petersburg. But we needed Chicago to consummate the deal, since I couldn't take on both players. So technically we dealt Myers to Chicago, not Charleston.

But I didn't want to write it up that way, because it'd be 1) confusing and 2) OOTP doesn't really give you the satisfaction of it being a three-team deal.

;)

I'm going to retire this thread and create new trade boards for each season. Makes it easier for me to keep track of things. ;)

Review and chat past trades from the 1965 season here (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=66303). Future trades will have their own trade board for that year.
