I think this delay actually comes at a good time. Hopefully it will allow the patch (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showpost.php?p=1452482&postcount=1) to come out before we start playing regular season games again. I've been a bit concerned about starting the season considering this recent comment by Jim:

look at the bug report section of the FOF 2007 forum. The game adjustments aren't working properly, and a few people have figured out how to turn that into an offense that racks up a lot of yardage without triggering the game's offensive game plan recognition code. This is part of the 6.0e plan, which I'm working on actively. This item is relevant in that solutions to these issues can be exploited - especially if there are bugs in the implementation.

Thanks, Tred. The 1st half of the game had me worried. Harrington was killing me on 3rd and longs. But your drives seemed to fizzle out whenever you got into scoring range. Mine did too, but at least I got FG's out of them.

I feel a little bit bad about ruining your perfect season. I think you deserve one for all the time and effort you put into the league. But all the same, I'm awful happy to join the club of 2-time eNFL Bowl winners, even if I feel a bit silly about dancing around the room over a computer game :D .

Everything just seemed to fall together this season. Palmer had one of his better years, in part because Freddie Thomas was running the ball so well. And my defense, while not as talented as some I've had in past years, played better than any of them.

Lemme explain what's happening to the forum.

The domain name attached to the space y'all use for the forum was an old wrestling game I played briefly, and without really thinking about the eNFL site, I let it expire, since we're not playing it anymore. Because the forum was basically a subdomain of that site.

So, when the domain expired, some numbnut company bought the domain name before I could re-register it.

Again, I can only offer my apologies and blame it on extreme stupidity. I'll work on getting this fixed as soon as possible.

New York's 5th round pick QB Conrad Bearden has gotten off on the right foot, getting suspended before signing his first contract.

Cincinnati, Denver, Green Bay, Jacksonville, New England, and Tennessee all failed in their renovation/building attempts. Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Houston succeeded.

Once we get the new board up and running, we'll set a start date for PDFA.

Carolina had a great draft as well. Especially of note was the 6th round choice of center Ciarleglio. To get a guy with a 63 in potential in the 6th round could turn out to be steal, even for a center.

With no first round pick, the Panthers accomplished more than most in this years draft. It has been a long road for Panthers fans, but look for a 4-6 game improvement this season over last years 1-15 debacle. (last time this team won 7 or more games was 2012!)
