I was checking out the Sports Illustrated in NCAA 2006, and about halfway through the season, I see this:

I haven't gotten that far yet. The season still has 5 or 6 games to go. UTEP did a serious number on me when I played them, though. I was on the business end of a 55-10 whoopin'. :(

Who did the damage against you? Palmer and Higgins or was it Ebell?

Palmer and Higgins, mainly. I believe Palmer threw for 407 yards on me before the backup came in. Ebell had a good game, too, but that's just because he caught me by surprise, as I expected Palmer to keep throwing. The thing that got me was that the CPU will move receivers into different spots. I used to be able to just double-team the receiver who was killing me, but on one play, Higgins would be split wide left. On the next play, he'd be in the slot. A play later, he'd be the flanker on the right side. I couldn't call a double team because I never knew where he was going to be on the field, and the Miners were constantly matching him up against my freshman and sophomore dime backs, mostly keeping him away from my impact corner. I tried to move my impact corner around, but I never knew where Higgins was going to be, so I couldn't stop him.
It sucked. :(
