I'm a newbie to FOF, but I'm NOT a newbie to online leagues. I've been involved with OOTP for three years so I know how this part of the game works. Here's my requirements:

1) I want to be in at the ground floor; which means an initial draft, player by player.

2) I want the commish to have references from other online leagues, and a history of running leagues succesfully.

3) I'd rather have fictional names for players but real names are OK too.

4) Honestly, I'll choose a league that doesn't look like it will flame out after two seasons. There is always a risk, I know, but I reallly want to be as sure as I can.

email me: erickneipfer@yahoo.com or PM me.

Looking forward to being part of a great new league.

Shit, all my paperwork and references were burned in the Great Chicago Fire.

That's a lot of hoops you want a league to jump through.

You must be the best owner EVER!

I think you'll probably just end up playing with yourself.

Sorry man. :(

All right, then I'll give my own reference: http://cbl-ootp-online.com/. I'm the BC Eagles since the 2nd season.

That's what I'd like from a commish. A link to a solid league that proves the he or she is responsible and dedicated.

If that's too much to ask I'll be happy to simply play with myself. :)

Why would a commish be starting a new league right now if they have already have a solid league?

Yeah, I guess that wouldn't make sense. What I meant to ask for was a link to a league where a prospective GM might have had a long record of participation as an owner. Running two leagues is an insane idea.

we have 5 openings at www.dfl.cc and are in the middle of the dispersal draft. any one of the open teams has an above average roster.

Wow! I missed this league by just a bit, I guess. This would be perfect, but I already missed most of my favorite part! Thank for considering me, however.

Also, I'm beginning to understand that this game is WAY more complex than I was anticipating; I need a few weeks to get comfortable. My fault for being overeager.
