I am planning to run a 64 player Match Play Fantasy Golf Tournament, using real golfing greats, and their real scores. Basically the dynasty will work this way:

1) 64 golfing greats will be entered

2) Their 6 to 10 best Masters rounds will be listed (I haven't determined the exact number yet and it may vary based on the players selected in the first rule). Note the Masters is being used because it's the only major always played on the same course. I realize the course has changed through the years and weather conditions vary, but this is a fantasy tournament so what the hell.

3) The players will draw their location in the tournament.

4) A year for each player will be selected randomly, as will the round.

5) The players will then play head to head based on how they performed in that round and the winner will move on (in case of a tie the next round in the year select will be used).

What I need from you is a list of 64 great golfers to use:

I already have:

Bobby Jones
Jack Nickaulus
Arnold Palmer
Tiger Woods
Ben Hogan
Byron Nelson
Sam Snead
Gene Sarazen
Tom Watson
Gary Player

Feel free to nominate someone.

Good Call - They have been added.

Don't feel you have to limit yourself to just players that won at Augusta, because it's going to be just 1 round vs 1 round, anybody that had a good day can win. Some interesting names to consider:

Greg Norman - as long as he avoids the Sunday in 1996 he'll be dangerous.
Lee Trevino - one of the alltime greats, but he never really played well at Augusta
Mickelson - won last year and had been on the leaderboard several times.
Kite - on the leaderboard a bunch.
Zoeller - won as a rookie
Watkins - could shoot low numbers
Els - see Kite
Couples - 1 win, some really good rounds.

I could come up with 64 golfers (maybe we'll go with 32 if the interest isn't there), but I thought it would be more entertaining if you guys suggested ones to use.
