I am planning to run a 64 player Match Play Fantasy Golf Tournament, using real golfing greats, and their real scores. Basically the dynasty will work this way:
1) 64 golfing greats will be entered
2) Their 6 to 10 best Masters rounds will be listed (I haven't determined the exact number yet and it may vary based on the players selected in the first rule). Note the Masters is being used because it's the only major always played on the same course. I realize the course has changed through the years and weather conditions vary, but this is a fantasy tournament so what the hell.
3) The players will draw their location in the tournament.
4) A year for each player will be selected randomly, as will the round.
5) The players will then play head to head based on how they performed in that round and the winner will move on (in case of a tie the next round in the year select will be used).
What I need from you is a list of 64 great golfers to use:
I already have:
Bobby Jones
Jack Nickaulus
Arnold Palmer
Tiger Woods
Ben Hogan
Byron Nelson
Sam Snead
Gene Sarazen
Tom Watson
Gary Player
Feel free to nominate someone.
