Twins finish it as Santana shuts out the Yanks through 7, then Rincon and Nathan each have a shutout inning for a 2-0 win.

If the Twins win one of the next 2 I really like their chances.

In other Minnesota sports new, Eddie Griffin signed with the Wolves today. Hopefully the guy can get his career on track here.

i guess the Twins don't want to win the game anymore. down 7-1 with no outs and what does Hunter - the leadoff hitter do...? he turns a double into getting tagged at 3rd for the out. then Koskie turns a single into getting tagged at 2nd to end the inning.

smart baseball. you need runs. how do you get runs? you get guys on base.
