This is a program for enthusiasts - because it is entirely in QBASIC (which is an awful old programming language).

This is for EWB 1.5 PC only. But you can convert the 1.5 data easily into EWB2 format and then import it into igiBall (http://www.bangbangplay.com).

This program is in no way associated with Eddie Dombrower or Electronic Arts.

New Seasons Tool

With this tool you can import any season from 1901 up to the newest season that is available with Lahman database at www.baseball1.com. From 1901 on, the program automatically creates the 'leagname.dat' file (league structure, division names, team names).

uses Lahman database (www.baseball1.com)
imports BATTING, PITCHING and FIELDING data
auto-rates POWER, SPEED of batters and SPEED, FATIGUE of pitchers

Does it work with windows xp?

yep.

EWB 1.5 itself may also run under XP or if it doesn't, it runs well with a program called DOSBOX (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/). Look at this thread (http://forums.simcentral.net/showthread.php?t=46656) of Baseball SimCentral Forum to find out how to use DOSBOX.

You have to download either Seasontool V1.1 (http://www.ufodb.net/ewb/seasontool.zip) or this upgrade (http://www.ufodb.net/ewb/upgrade.zip) to your old copy of my seasontool from last year. Without the new version, there will be no pitching data.

Besiodes this, everything looks fine to me!

Have you heard any word from Eddie, or is he MIA again?
