Anyone know of any good sites for tattoo art? Most of the sites I have found have been unstable and wanting to install crap on my PC.

Do you need a place to find mullet and missing teeth art, too?

I found all of the artwork for my tattoos at Barnes & Noble. Any tattoo artist will be willing to trace something out of say a Native American art book, and make it into a tattoo. Hit your local Barnes & Noble/Borders store and check out the art sections. There are hundreds of potential awesome tattoos in those books, and the best part about it nobody else has it. Why would you want to look at tattoos that other people have already gotten to see what you want?

Do you have a problem with tattoo art, Mr. Noble?

Simply not true.

many will not use copyrighted material

If you are serious about a tat and have a little money, I would suggest contracting an artist to create a design.

Only with the classification of tattoos as art. But then again, art is a subjective thing, isn't it? ;)

Oh, okay then. In fact, I'm so moved by what you've written that I'm going to have it tattooed on my body if I can find a space left that's big enough. :P

dola...

The fact that we don't have a tongue smiley on this board really disturbs me.

Perhaps I'll have to post a jpg of the one I had tattooed on my left ass cheek to make up for it.

All of my tattoos were traced out of books. Granted they were changed either by removing a color or adjusting it to look better on the part of my body it was placed on. I don't know if that gets around the copyright, but I never had a problem with it.

I don't understand why (so many) people get so called "native American" motif tattoos.

I don't either Fritz.

All of my so called "native American" friends call themselves so called "native Americans" though. :)
