First pull worth more than 5k in 8 weeks. I'm not sure what to do with him. I could sell one of my new trainees, a 17 inad pm pass passing, but he wouldn't sell for as much. Nice problem to have.

What would y'all do? Does he have too many wasted skills? Inad winger isn't high enough to play him as a winger towards middle. I guess the passable Defending isn't a complete waste, but I like to play my middies offensively. Thoughts?

I'd train him as an offensive midfielder since he has solid passing. As someone mentioned, a defender trainer would never take a chance on the guy due to his specialty, not to mention he'd have a handful of wasted skills from that spot.

To me, that belief is pure superstition, just like when I hear people saying they wait until Sunday afternoon to make their pull. Absolutely nothing behnid it, pure superstition... FWIW, my first great pull came in my 7th weeks of excellent youth squad. The first 6 weeks had a total value of 55k...

The difference also being that you actually worsen your odds by dropping to solid whereas pulling on Sunday is only acting like an old lady (or a baseball player).

Air, I don't know if you priced him low intentionally, but he's going to sell for big bucks. Like $400K-500K+. I sold an 18 with roughly the same stats for $175K and he was then day traded by a Swedish guy for $250k.

I know that I'm bitching about the wrong thing here. Why is it more upsetting to get a near winner instead of utter crap. If I would have gotten the traditional crappy youth pull, I would have bitched for a moment then fired him. It's kind of like getting that lottery ticket that just misses payoff by 1 number.

What I'll end up doing is day-training him to excellent scoring, then selling him off. Even at 18 y/o I would have kept him for a bit longer.
