Question for Jim (or anyone else who knows the answer...)
Will players be able to edit the names of the schools (i.e. can the user change "South Bend" back to "Notre Dame")?
Also, will there be a field for team names, a la "Huskies" or "Buckeyes", etc.? If yes, but the names are generic, will these be available to edit?

It would also be nice if you could edit the players names especially for the rookies that were omitted.

I seem to recall Jim saying somewhere that player rosters would be randomly generated for TCY. The NCAA does not allow individual players to be marketed (which is why NCAA 2001 always comes with only numbers, but allows you to edit the names). It's not really a matter of missing "rookies" so much as it is (I would think) making sure you get reasonably accurate rosters (for instance, you don't end up with Buffalo's beginning roster being stronger than Nebraska's.)
And (in any of the FOF series) I suspect that player editors, even for just the name, are highly unlikely, due to the way Jim codes his games.
Just trying to keep hopes down, so that we don't have a backlash like when FOF 2001 came out...

Solecismic said that TCY interview that there would be no team nicknames, so the Huskies would just be called Washington which is I feel is better. It would be frustrating trying to figure out what Cougars game was on TV1 or something of the matter.
He also said private schools would have fiticious names. Notre Dame's name would be South Bend in so on. However you can change the names just like you can change city names in the city editor in FOF.
