NBA2k13 Demo Review

After finally playing the demo for NBA2k13, I must say I am a bit dissapointed, but hopeful for this years game.. It's not like they did anything wrong, it's mostly what they left the same that did it for me.

I know this is a demo, and the retail version is bound to have some additional tweaks, but for what the demo brought to the table was a lot of the same from 2k12. I will say the gameplay felt better to me, but so did 2k12 at first. That sort of thing truly comes out after countless ... Read More

While this site has created so many positives in the sports gaming world, it has also created a generation of pessimistic gamers that are so quick to call things broken, unrealistic, and AI cheating it makes me shake my head. This is obviously not the intention of this site, and I love OS.com with all my heart, but man this stuff gets old. These hard line opinions do drive the gaming industry to produce better products, but there is no pleasing some people.

...but I don't have ANY of the same problems it seems like everyone else has with the new sports games. I don't know if I play differently or what but seriously I have no clue what people are talking about. My examples...

- The CPU has no problem running the ball with good RBs.

Duke Football 2012 Season Wrap Up

My first year in NCAA 13 with the Duke Blue Devils is in the books, and it was a much more successful season compared to past versions of NCAA Football. My final record in the regular season was (8-3) I lost a close game against #18 Stanford 16-13 in Week 3, a last second loss to Maryland 38-31, and an overtime demoralizer 10-7 to Florida State. It's All About The Sim

Lately I have been simming more than playing, and I have been having a lot of fun. Definitely something different from my normal gaming habits. The main reason for this is the fact that "Franchise" modes in games have the most depth out of all the modes, and I want to utilize that with multiple seasons. Watching players you draft progress, players retiring, off season moves and watching teams go from worst to first is the reason why I love sports.

Creating Your Own Sports Reality

I used to be a strictly play realistic sports gamer, in many ways I still am, but lately I have been trying something different. I have realized that unlike real life, in video games, I have the opportunity to shape how the league operates. Whether it is shorter quarters or fantasy drafts, the league is what I want it. Man oh man, I have been gone for a while. I finally am back where I have consistent internet access and a computer that works correctly. I am super pumped to be able to do Dynasty blogs again.

How much better NBA2k11 plays than NBA2k12. I'm not too knowlegdable on sliders and what each of them do, or roster ratings, but the feel of NBA2k11 is un-matched.

I got NBA2k11 on release day, I thought it was awesome. Played it a bunch, then even waited 1 month after the 2k12 release to buy it. Is how you can't just play a tournament with a professional golfer, 4 rounds, with a full field.

I just wanna jump into The Masters with Ricky Fowler and I can't.

Imagine if you HAD to create a player in NBA2k13 and couldn't play with your favorite team.

Is Madden 09 Really The BEST?

I haven't played Madden 09 since, well, 2009, but I have been getting real bored with 12 and was looking at some YouTube videos of 09 and wow.

This game looks amazing! The way the cam circles around as the players are coming to the line is awesome. The rain games show the field getting gnarled up with TONS of mud all over the players jersey and pants. The passing trajectory looked better than 12 as well.

HELP! Should I buy MLB2k12!

I need some advice from some people who already own the game...should I buy it?

I play a lot online so are the online features up to par? I don't really lose sleep over stats, so that is not a factor. I have MLB2k11, I think its pretty fun. I am leaning towards just keeping that and waiting on 2k12, but today I will have money in palm and nothing to do.

This whole Miami Marlins and the new unis for the Blue Jays and Orioles almost makes me have to get it.

I am BAD at NBA 2k12

I got 2k12 in November, wasn't really feeling it so I went back to 2k11. Fired it up and started playing online. After the November to last week was over my online record was 48-13, and the overall was 97-32. I was on top of the world until I saw the announcement for 2k shutting down the 2k11 servers. So, I decided to take my talents back to 2k12.
