I have not released a 3d sports vid since early February because I was working on the first ever 3D Arma 2 Machinima(see it below). I have another round of sports game 3D videos on tap that will be released soon. Here is what is cooking:

Is there a single sports moment that can compare with the 1980 Miracle On Ice game in magnitude and importance? When the USA defeated the heavily favored Soviet Union in the 1980 Olympic games It meant so much more than the average sporting event ever has or will. My family and friends can tell you that the last few seasons I have not had a really strong feeling about the New England Patriots chances of winning the Super Bowl. This year, I am picking NE to win the Super Bowl over Green Bay, even though defense is a serious issue. Most of the teams in the field this year are not great on D. I have been using Fraps for all my game recording and kept hearing about a capture software called Bandicam. I decided to test it out last night and it is impressive from what I can see so far. The main difference is that Bandicam's rendered files are a fraction of the size of Fraps and the quality is surprisingly close from what I have seen in tests(Fraps has slightly better image quality). One of the most impressive titles I have seen yet when it comes to the 3D department is Dirt 3. The game performs well with 3D enabled and looks amazing. Part of the dilemma with playing, and especially recording, a game in 3D is that you often have to sacrifice some graphics to keep the frame rate acceptable.
The reason for that is the Graphic Card, instead of rendering one scene, is actually rendering two scenes at the same time(one for left eye and one for right eye). Even with ... Read More
