Madden 13 - Another Issue that should never have been an issue in the first place...

Which brings me to this years Madden. We've been told many things that were done to make this game better from last year. All the new features with most attention being focused in and around the infinity engine.
I refused to purchase the game this year in the beginning because I could not get a confirmation that an online franchise season, now known as Connected Careers, would have the ability to adjust sliders within your season. After learning the game-maker had listened to the public's begging for this feature to be added, and stuck it in, I picked it up.
Only...only to learn the sliders setting in CC do not work. I'm not sure how EA missed this HUGE blunder, but for those of us that are looking for a serious challenge from the CPU, your simply NOT going to get it in online/offline CC this year. At least until it's fixed. The question is, will it be fixed?
We've learned that slider adjustments to the play mode "Play Now" DO WORK, and if set properly can provide a very enjoyable experience playing the game. I'll be the first to say the games "PLAY NOW" mode with the slider set I'm using has made me a fan of the game to the point it's arguably in my opinion the best madden yet....But...the slider set / difficulty level does not transfer over to CC. It blows my mind, but it's true. The CPU struggles to get any kind of running game established, with many times I've even picked a nickel or dime package, literally layed my controller on the ground, and the CPU still doesn't gain 2 yards on the ground. It's mind-blowing.
I'm making you aware because many people play CC without having a full, 32 team LG. It's not easy finding 32 real players when many times guys do not enjoy getting their butts kicked when having to settle on playing with the worst teams. So..what happens, most LG's have about 5-15 players that really stick out multiple seasons and many games end up being played against the CPU.
Until this problem is rectified, the season will not be enjoyable as all of you will be winning those games, and as a result, will have inflated stats.
We have reached out to EA about this issue. They have responded they are looking into the problem, but no response as to when we can expect to have this fixed has been provided.
The gaming giant has already dropped the ball with NCAA last year, and as it stands not Madden is not looking good this time around. Many players that have spent time with the game and are aware of the issue are electing to hold off on starting their online seasons until the problem is fixed, while others are giving them just a few weeks before returning the game and calling it quits altogether.
We hope EA's customer service performs as well as they say it does. Will they listen to the complaints and act on them? If so, how fast?
It's anyone's guess at this point, as no one has received any kind of update as to when the problem will be fixed. Until then, fans who have long stuck with the series are growing impatient.

If you, like me, play Offline then NCAA 13 is the way to go, it doesn't look that great I know but it plays a damn sight better against the CPU than Madden. Also for he first time ever I'm playing NCAA with full 15 minute quarters & still getting reasonably realistic statistics.
